can you smell the fall?
it almost seems like overnight things change. not gonna lie, i hate the cold so that makes me unhappy, but new fashion, sure that'll be awesome. for this new season, i wanted to highlight a few of my favorite products from my mary kay line-up.
there are just so many things to love about this season, i couldn't narrow it down.
to give a brief overview of my favs...
1. mineral powder and mineral foundation brush: this stuff goes on like a dream giving a smooth, finish, without looking caked on.
2. cc cream: when i'm rushing out the door and just need a light coverage, this puppy's my favorite. plus, it has sunscreen, moisturizer, and toner in it. #holla
3. eye primer: when you paint a house, you use primer to help the paint have a truer color. it's the same thing with eye shadow. the mk eye primer keeps your shadow on longer and then helps it come off easier after a long day.
4. chocolate kiss: this is one of my favorite colors, for any eye. looks stunning on brown eyes, but can also really accent blue and green eyes.
5. MK ultimate lash mascara: the BOMB.COM of mascaras. i have never found one that applies so evenly and perfectly every time.
6. pink parfait lip-gloss: don't let the pink fool you, it's actually a very classy color.
7. bronzer: i will never claim to be a make-up artist or even have the talent for contouring, but this stuff really adds the finishing touches to any look
8. french roast eye shadow: again, such a great neutral. what i love about mk eye shadow is that you don't need a lot to make it look good.
9. the smudger brush: perfect blending tool as well as liner brush to help keep lines blurred and not so hard
10. foundation primer: today i put on foundation without this and immediately noticed two things - my foundation didn't go on as smooth and it didn't stay on as long. the foundation primer is non-comedogenic, so it won't clog your pores leaving more zits behind.
11. sweet nectar lipstick: for when I'm feeling sassy
12. nude rose fall pallet: this is my FAVORITE pallet i've seen mk come out with. purple is just such a "in" color and i love seeing it in use. especially with brown eyes ;)
if there is anything you'd like to try out, give me a call and let's book a fall facial! i'm looking to get better at my color skills so the more the merrier.
xoxo
